How to Create a Secure Cloud Strategy for Financial Services Firms
At Level 3, John directs our Global Managed Services strategy, product development and network & security strategy. He is responsible for shaping product line management strategy to drive revenue, improve customer service and enable network based services and applications while overseeing the optimization of Level 3 infrastructures.
John came to Level 3 from CenturyLink after having led the development of their CPE Solutions and Complex Managed Services program. He was influential in reinventing CenturyLink’s, voice, security, data networks and the commercial and managed service models.
Bill has held various leadership roles in sales, business development and product management since joining Level 3 in April of 1998. Prior to Level 3, Bill was director of product management at LogicTier, a managed services business focused on new media business. Bill also held product management positions with GlobalCenter, an early leader in Managed Internet Data Centers, and began his career with NetManage, the developer of the first commercially successful Internet applications for Windows.
Bill has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Technical and Professional Writing from San Francisco State University.
Marley’s information technology career spans more than 22 years. He specializes in development and architecture, platform strategy matched with business initiatives, competitive technologies and enterprise application integration – and is a strong advocate for creating superior user experiences by leveraging Microsoft technology. Prior to his current position, Marley was a founding member of the Developer and Platform Evangelism Team (DPE) and a development consultant for the U.S. Financial Services Group, providing proof-of-concept architectures and applications to the largest financial services companies in the United States.
A regular speaker at Microsoft’s industry architect and developer events, Marley graduated from Appalachian State University in 1991 and is an avid reader and football fan. He currently lives in the Charlotte, N.C., area.
